It is good to protect the threads on an expensive threaded barrel. I wouldn't shoot a lot with it, but I guess it's not really meant for that. A cheap protective device versus some "brand-name" protective devices that do the same thing.

Does what it's designed to do and looks good. Quality thread protectors are expensive and this gets the same job done, goes on smooth and protects my barrel threads and crown when I'm at the range and had no problem installing .
